MGMT 4535 Seminar in International Management Field experience involving meetings with top management personnel of businesses operating outside the United States. Discussions will center on the economic, cultural, social, legal and other environmental constraints that affect firms in other countries.
MKTG 3031 Principles of Marketing Prerequisite: Principles of economics or equivalent. An introductory look at the marketing function, especially from the managerial perspective. Major topics include the marketing environment, consumer behavior, the marketing mix, international marketing and marketing research.
MKTG 4531 International Marketing Prerequisite: MKTG 3031. Analysis of marketing problems of international business with emphasis on export marketing and domestic marketing of U. S. products abroad. Focus is on culture and all of the marketing mix variables in successfully selling abroad.
MKTG 4532 Seminar in International Marketing Field experience involving meetings with the chief marketing officers of firms operating in areas outside the United States. Sessions will concentrate on marketing problems found in other cultures, the solutions used to address those problems and how these problems and solutions are different from the American experience.
