Important Notice: According to the new State Board for Educator Certification rules, you must be recommended for the certificate or endorsement you are currently pursuing by August 31, 2002!!! This includes successful completion of all courses, GPAs, experience and ExCETs/TOPT. After that date, the State's certification structure will change and you will be subject to taking additional course work and totally new ExCETs/TOPT to earn a new certificate. Also, after that date no more endorsements will be ever issued again. The new certification levels for teaching certificates will be Early Childhood-Grade 4, Grades 4-8, Grades 8-12, and All-Level. The professional certificate structure is also under revision by SBEC.
