Woman: Imprints, Legacies & Tales (Free Event), UHCL Bayou Building.
As a prelude to Womenıs History Month in March, this photography and
text exhibition celebrates womenıs stories and the images they inspire.
Sponsored by Her Legacies Foundation, a charitable organization, this
venue provides a voice for women to share their story to empower other

Registration for Foreign Language Classes Feb. 27 noon-1 p.m and Feb.
28, 6 - 7 p.m., Bayou Building. Foreign language classes in French,
German, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish will run March 4 - April 19.
Register Feb. 27-28 to learn a new language, whether for business
or pleasure. Strengthen the vocabulary necessary for everday situations
encountered during foreign travel. Participants may receive continuing
education credit. Fee is $120; $100 for returning students. Fee does

UHCL Art School for Children and Young Adults, Arbor Building Room
159. Art instruction on campus and at a number of area schools. The
eight-week session will explore ninth through 11th century Viking
culture. Younger children create impressions with clay, drawing and
painting, while older students develop their artistic skills, drawing
from nature, still life and real life. No telephone registrations
accepted. Limited space availability. Class tuition for most classes:
$60, $55 for second or third child in the same family. Obtain registration
forms at Arbor Building, Room 159, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - 2:30

Hall Lee Drive, Baytown, 77522. UH-Clear Lake representatives will
be at Lee College to pass out catalogs and course schedules, as
well as to answer questions students might have about transferring

10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Couseling Center, 8060 Spencer Highway,
