San Jacinto Rail Limited wants to use Union Pacific's line.

Houston's City Council passed a resolution against the construction of the controversial Bayport rail line March 6. San Jacinto Rail Limited, the company that wanted to build the rail line through Clear Lake, has responded with an alternative plan to use its competitor's lines. .more ...

 

Recent SACS visit assures UH-Clear Lake is an "A" university

UH-Clear Lake successfully passed a three-day evaluation performed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools on Feb. 26-28. Administrators believe the university will keep its accreditation for another 10 years.

Accreditation of educational institutions guarantees the quality of education for students interested in knowing how different universities rank. The University has been preparing for the SACS committee since 1998. more ...
