State chops budget

The state of Texas has issued a state-wide budget cut for the remaining 2003 school year.

Gov. Rick Perry requests that institutes of higher education create a budget cut plan to resolve a short fall in the state's budget for the fiscal year at a rate of 7 percent of their state allocation.                                                         ...Story Continued
