Dear Gabby:
Iım taking a humanities course and I hate to write. I donıt think Iım good at it, plus Iım an accounting major.
Iım not going to write papers in my career, so Iım not psyched about doing an eight-page research paper. What can I do for help?
-Doesnıt like to write

Dear Write:
I feel about adding numbers what you feel about writing papers! Donıt you love the diversity of degrees that are offered here at the university? I do!
Depending on which style you are writing in, whether it is MLA, APA or Chicago style, the library has many volumes dedicated to helping you get your style down correctly.
Thatıs the easy part. I like the Writers Reference, which I think of as my Bible, but the Little Brown Handbook is good as well.
Once your style is down, visit the Writing Center, located on the second floor in the Bayou Building. They can help you with your structure and give you tips on how to strengthen your paper.
Good luck, and Iıll call you when I need help with taxes!

Dear Gabby:
I had my identity stolen and I am experiencing a nightmare that no one should have to experience.
When I first noticed the suspicious charges on my account statement I reported them. Now, the bank has confirmed that it is fraud. Iım so lost. What do I do next?
-Scared of losing my money and mind

Dear Scared:
Take a deep breath and calm down. First, get your account number and ATM card pin number changed.
Actually, you might want to get a new card completely because your card number could be used for online purchases. You can request copies of your credit report by mail or go to www.freecreditreport.com.
You can access your credit from three major credit reporting agencies: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax.
Check the reports for suspicious activity and contact the companies to report any mistakes or to report fraud. If you get credit card offers by mail, tear them up. You can request to be taken off of their mailing lists. This helps if you have a mailbox on the street, where anyone could take your mail. Try these tips and I hope your situation gets better.
