Lose the loser: Just dump him
by Sarah Milstead
UHCLIDIAN STAFF

In the new movie, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, Kate Hudson plays a journalist out to intentionally make a guy dump her so she can write about it in her magazine column.

We all knew walking into the theater that this was, in fact, a chick flick. So no one was surprised that at the end of a long bout of misunderstandings and scheming on both sides of the gender gap, the two beautiful leads ended up together.

That's right, after doing everything she could to drive the guy away, true love conquered all.

A case of art imitating life?

I think not.

Women are constantly trying to figure out how to hold on to guys, even though many guys aren't worth holding onto.

Before worrying about how to keep a guy interested, first consider whether or not he's worth keeping. There are plenty of fish in the sea; don't miss out on a good one because you're dating bait.

"But Sarah," I can hear you asking, "how do we tell the good ones from the bad?"

Fear not ladies, here it is, the answer to a girl's prayer, a simple map to help you find your way on the road to love.

No need to thank me; if I know this helped but one dedicated reader free herself of a clothes-stealing, cat-killing, man-pansy, then my work here is done. ...Or is it? Stay tuned guys; I've got you covered, and your list is going in issue five.
