Results for the 2003-2004 SGA Executive Council were announced during the April 8, Student Government Association meeting.

A total of nine students participated in the Executive Council elections.

Winners are as follows: Jamie Davis, President; Alphy Koonthily, vice president-committee coordinator; Josephine Tittsworth, vice president-student outreach and communications; Rupeshchand Patil, vice president-administration.

Student representatives from university organizations voted by ballot on who they deemed best suited for the positions.

Each candidate gave a short presentation on their qualifications, leadership experience in university organizations and community projects. After each presentation attendees of the SGA meeting followed up with questions concerning the candidates duties.

Based on the SGA Constitution and By-laws, the new team will work together to represent the voice of the student body, distribute funds as needed to student organizations, and direct committee representatives in fulfilling their obligations.
