Kathi Hill: Energetic and enthusiastic are two words that characterize Kathi Hill. Kathi recently retired after 31 years in the educational field. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Kathi has been involved in TAHPERD (Texas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance) for 21 of her 31 years in education, representing that organization as the Middle School Physical Educator of the Year in 2001. Kathi was always passionate about all of her students and believed that it was her responsibility to help them become the "best" learners they could possibly be!! She has always been a life-long learner and if anyone needed a "team player" with a positive attitude, Kathi was the one for the job! She loves sharing her knowledge and expertise with those of a like mind, that being, those who believe that kids should come first!!

Jackie Cobbin: [insert text here]. She will enlighten us about “The Image of Educational Success”
Anne Coppenhaver has spent the last 15 of her 40-year educational career working with mentor teachers and teachers of mentors, learning from them, sharing their "Aha!" moments and having more than a few of her own at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Her first love was, and remains, teaching, first in the social studies classrooms (in North Carolina) and then teaching teachers both at the university level at CIty University of New York, grant administrator for several school districts, and as a high school administrator (principal at Dickinson High for 9 years, and before that, ap experiences at junior high and high schools in Texas). Her passion for teaching comes equipped with a drive to get things accomplished on a large scale, so her current role as Director of the Center for Educational Programs in UHCL's School of Education is one that's tailor-made for her. She believes that principals with principles can make great things happen for kids ... and that the heart of teaching is learning!
She will coach the specific skills and techniques for “Telling it like it is: Saying Difficult Things so People Can Hear”
